Hi can someone please help me find a light weight grapple and necessary hydraulic kit for my 1023e that’s inexpensive?

I haven't looked at all of the grapples out there but I'd guess the CTAttcahments 50" is right in the ballpark as far as cost goes ($1500 + shipping) and it comes in at a very light (~195 lbs).

The Everything Attachments 50" grapple costs slightly more ($1581 + $50 for the JDQA) but they offer free shipping if you are within 1000 miles of them. Their unit is about 260 lbs.

I'm only familiar with the Artillian diverter as far as the needed hydraulics goes and that's right at $700. There may be cheaper options but all you need is a diverter setup.

The quoted weight of that Titan grapple is 450 pounds, thatís twice what others weigh in at. Having a grapple thatís more than half of the rated lifting capacity is not a good match.

OP mentioned cheap and lightweight, donít think you can have both, worth mentioning the most economical one. Also, just noticed how heavy that grapple is. Must be some junk steel.

You get what you pay for.

Just got a 55" Everything Attachments Grapple. Thing is a beast! You get what you pay for... IMO after all of my research, it was worth it. This thing will last a very long time. And it's made in North Carolina, not overseas. If you buy the grapple with the 3rd function kit, you do get a $50 discount.

If offered, I would prefer a 3rd function valve to a diverter, just my 2 cents.

If you have a Quick Hitch with an angling cylinder I can confidently recommend the Innovative Tractor Attachments grapple at $529. I used it on my 425 for years and have since moved it to my 1025R and I have to say it's the most useful attachment I've ever owned. Amazing how much you can lift and move around with it.

The owner of the company is a guy named Marcus and his stuff is great quality - made in the U.S.

A bunch of the pictures on his site are from my 425 as I was one of the first JD adopters. I like the one of the boulder myself - when I went for it I didn't think it possible to actually lift it but it was no problem.

For a larger tractor, maybe, but for the little guys with a small amount of hydraulic flow diverters are better options, they also fit better since real estate is so limited.
