    47" Front Snowblower Manual (1025r)

Any idea on where I can find a manual for the 1025r 47" front snowblower? I was able to score used one at a great price. They guy only used it once so its almost brand new. However he didn't have a manual for it. Ive searched all over looking for one and I keep finding the manuals for the garden series tractors not the 1 series. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A word of caution before a "Great Deal" turns into a real headache.

The 47" two stage snow thrower is used on both the garden tractors and the SCUT's like the 1025r. However, the PTO drive shaft is different between the X5xx and x7xx machines and the 1 series. The correct PTO shaft and the up stop lift kit adds several hundred dollars to the cost right away.

If the 47" blower was on a machine other than the 1 series, chances are it won't fit your tractor without making a change to the PTO shaft on the blower. Get measurements and double check.

And PLEASE don't take the seller's word for what it fits when you buy it. Get the serial number off the blower and double check it first. There was just another GTT member who drove multiple hours to buy a blower that he was told would fit his machine and it turns out that it didn't and the parts to make it fit were enough to make the blower cost as much as buying a new one which actually does fit.

The 47" snowblower that I bought did in fact come off a 1 series 1025R. So I knew there would be no issues there. You are correct because I know that some of the garden series tractor like the X500 and X700 series use the same blower and of course the driveshafts would be different. I knew I was OK from the beginning as it was still on the guys 1025R. We made sure everything was working properly and the guy showed us how to disconnect it from his machine and we took all the necessary parts to make it work on our machine. Thanks for the heads up. It worked awesome cut my plowing time in half!
