    Building my own toothbar

New JD 1025R owner here. Looks like I can build my own toothbar for half the cost of what I'm finding online. I found a Titan package on Amazon that looks okay, and my JD dealer sells Titan implements. But I know nothing about Titan.

Amazon.com: Titan Attachments 72 Shanks Skid Steer DIY: Home Improvement

Here's another option: https://augerteethonline.com/AGIndus...tore/Index/335 If I don't have it in my supplies, I'd have to pick up some local steel bar to complete the parts list.

I would value your input. Thanks.

There are two different "Titan" companies. One builds many quality implements here in the US, and the other imports just about everything from China and sells on eBay and Amazon.

Here is the former that I suspect your dealer in selling: Welcome to Titan Implement

As Kenny posted, stay away from Amazon for that type of purchase.

I would be worried about the quality of the steel.

I built my own too, pretty simple to do. When I was shopping for a toothbar, in particular at the JD dealer, they looked at me like I was from Mars wanting a toothbar on such a small tractor. But I love it and it is worth every penny and every effort.

Here is the build thread for the one I built.

More likely the image got flipped. Like the "ATOYOT" truck in the music video for the B-52's "Roam".
