    60" 3pth finnish mower

Spring is coming on, so I am measuring up
my 1025 and implements to fit.

I am looking at the GM1072E if the tractor
will handle it, otherwise the GM1060E.

Any one know the overall length without
loader, I need to get my LX255 on the
    trailer as well.

I really would like you to just go buy the 72" because that's what I would like for my 1026R and I have the same curiosity as you.

I think your gonna find the 72" er will be to much for the tractor to manhandle it.. Power you might be OK. Lifting it you should be OK with loader on. But, I think the mower will push the tractor around in turns and if any hills.. I had a 72" rear mount once and it took my 2210 for a ride.. 2520 was much better to handle it..

Hi NEWT, I got to thinking about what you said, so I went
and checked the specs on the 2210 vs 1025r, the 1025r
only 40lbs more, but, if I add liquid filled drives and proper
suitcase weights to the front, this "might" fix the problem
you had. The 72" is 440lbs,GM1060E 375lbs and the
    GM1048E 350lbs.

The JD dealer has some nice hill on their lot, so I will look
    into what you said. Thanks.

I had loaded AGS on the rear of my 2210.. Also, keep in mind you will have none of the mowers weight on the tractor while mowing. And its fixed to the tractor as far as side to side movement, so if your on a slope and the mower wants to pull left or right it will also pull the rear of the tractor with it..

Neighbor of mine got a new 60" finish mower once for his 2210. He used it 4 times and sold it and went back to his belly mower.. His yard has some rolling parts and the 2210 didn't like the 60" out back..

Not trying to scare you away from an mower, just letting you know what to look out for if you test one out.. Some salespeople will say whatever for the sale, then when you get home you come down to reality..
