    Bucket for #7 Backhoe.

I recently acquired #7 backhoe for my 790. It's got a 9" bucket on it but I will need something bigger. I'm thinking 16".

I've seen from some other posts (and some conflicting JD part info) that the BM19557-BM19560 range of buckets will fit the #7. JD dealer near is telling me the 16" for the #7 is BM17638 only and it's NLA. Anyone have a clue as to where I might find a bucket for this backhoe?

Yes, that's the first place I looked and that's what the dealer is telling me. I did see a post where someone confirmed the BM19558 fit his #7. This series was for the 46, 47 and possibly some other backhoes.

I've confirmed the BM19559 16" is still available at the low low price of $561

    Good deal
Seems to be a good price, IMO. Many years ago I priced a bucket for our #7 and it was like $800.
I seem to think JD was still using the #7 not so many years ago.
