Check your mowing deck spindal bearings

Just watched a youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d3eC2OIg85o and this fella highlighted the issue of sealed bearings being used. Will have to check out my mowing deck today.

You will probably find your bearings are sealed. I watched the video also. Years ago I had the bearings fail twice on my 175 Hydro despite being greased regularly. On the third set of bearings I removed the inner seals so they could get grease. 25 years later and those bearings were still turning smooth and quiet.
