    Auto connect coupler missing

Just a heads up, make sure the set screw is nice and tight because the coupler, part #6, is $140. I can't find it anywhere near the mower deck so I speculate that the set screw came loose and the coupler stayed attached to the female/tractor side of the auto connect. Guess I'm not cutting grass any time soon. Loving this auto connect deck more and more every day. This is on a 72" auto connect deck mounted to a 2038

Maybe you've thought of this, but did you check in the end if the mid pto shaft? I would think if it came off, it would come off during de- coupling, and the female fitting on the tractor may have captured it.

And when and where it decided to exit the female side of the coupler is anyone's guess.

There has been the same problem on the 1 series decks too, with the set screws backing out. Use a drop of blue loctite on the screws when installing them helps.
