60 and 72 auto connect deck swap

    Team Green,
I have had my 60 inch auto connect on my 3039r for the past 3 years. If I buy a bare 72inch auto connect deck will all my hardware from the 60 convert over? Bearings, mounting pulleys etc.... Except the blades.... and belt maybe?
    Anyone tried this?
    Thanks
    Chip

Your best bet would probably be to go to John Deere Parts Catalog

Look up the illustrations for both and compare the parts involved. To make it easier, you can scroll down near the bottom of the page on the right side, and choose from Print Page or Email Page, in which you can email it to yourself.

You may be the first to try this type of swap.

That’s good advice. But on the surface the lift under the tractor should be the same since that is it’s own option. The front arms for the deck might change.
