Top link connection point on tractor, which of the 3 holes to use ?

Got a new 3038E yesterday, there are 3 connection holes on the tractor for the top link. Manual says to use upper hole for light loads and it tilts the implement when raised, and to use lower hole for heavy loads and it keeps implement vertical when raised. I am using ballast box, box blade, and rear blade on rear. It there any reason to not use the lower hole all the time?
The manual has very minimal info on this and most other topics.
    Thanks for advice.

Mine is the same. I never move it from the bottom. The only reason I would say to move it to the top is if you had something you wanted to pick the rear up further the tilt would help.
