    55 wicked root grapple

First of all I'd like to say I absolutely love my 55-in wicked root grapple from everything attachments.
Except for waiting so long for it and it coming with the wrong fittings I really think it is a fine piece of equipment.
I have a 2000 4400 I added the John Deere handle (That's another story), diverter valve.

My issue-question is it seems natural to pull the handle towards you to close the grapple but when set up this way it uses the"regen" function of the valve when trying to open the grapple, that doesn't work correctly.
It would close super fast if the hoses were reversed, but that seems backwards.
Has anybody else had issues or have noticed this?

If you donít move the joystick all the way to the right you wonít hit the regen function.

Practice with the tractor off. As you move the lever to the right slowly you will feel the detent about half way through the travel.

I have been doing it that way, and I don't have a problem doing it. it still seems natural to me to keep doing it this way I just wish I could utilize the region function and maintain the regren function.
    Thanks for the response
