What is the price of a new one? Used 8-10 is a little vague, I have spots where I've tilled a 12'x24' garden for our neighbors and I've also tilled 1.5 acre field that we leveled up and reseeded, each was one use, but one took me 15 minutes and the other took me a few hours. I like to base use on hours rather than frequency. Off the top of my head (again, without knowing the price of new) I'd say $1450 they are trying to get just about what they paid for it depending on it's age, tillers for whatever reason have gone up in price in the last few years. Three years ago we paid $1100 for our County Line 48" tiller, this past spring that same tiller was going for $1500. Your best bet is to look at it, via in person or in pics, that should be an indicator to start how much use this tiller has.

I understand the usuage. 8-10 times for a garden according to poster. From the pictures it looks pretty new. Lightly used. I’m not sure what a new one cost can’t seem to find pricing. It’s forward till only. Not sure quality of woods implements

Woods has a great reputation, from what you are saying it doesn't sound like a bad deal.

I’m pretty sure my Landpride RTA1250 50” tiller was $2000 new. Depending on the condition of the tiller $1450 doesn’t sound too bad but I’d see if they’d take $1250.

Woods products are fairly beefy....better than most.

I'm guessing its older is why your having trouble with pricing.

Look at the tines. If there ground to a point on the ends there near done.

With luck there still square and have paint on them.

    Does it have a Clutch??

Here in central Ohio, in February of 2018, I paid $1650 for a brand new RTR48.30. Woods makes very good implements and parts are very reasonably priced. Don't ask me why I know. IMO, I think it just a tad high priced, but maybe not too much.
