My dealer was recommending the L for the X7 and 10 series because of the lift pin height, which will allow you to lift the BB higher.

What tractor you running? I have the 2048L on my 1025R and it's great (although it would be nice to have more than 3 scarifiers)

    5048l should be ok.
My dealer specifically pointed me away from the 20l series blades. It is their opinion that they are borderline for a 1 series.
The 2048L is rated for 25hp 2250lb max.
A 1 series with front weights and tire ballast gets mighty close if not over that weight.

Also the 2048l is only 265lbs., about 70% the weight of the 2048.

I think the 2048L is too light duty so thats why I went with the 5048L just my opinion eh

Good choice, you'll not be disappointed. Make sure we get to see it.

2048 works great on my 1025R. Has 4 scarifiers and the extra weight (over the 2048L) is a benefit in my rocky soil. 3pt has no problem lifting it... Even with a 200lb person standing on it ( yes we tried it).
