I'm looking at picking up a rear blade. I've looked at Frontier, Land Pride, and King Kutter mostly. The King Kutter seems to be about half the price and I've heard good things. I can buy one at Fleet Farm for $319.00 compared to $600-1k for more of a name brand.
My question is, what size blade should I buy? I was thinking 60 or 72 inch, but i'm leaning more towards the 72 inch. I don't want to be over matched at all, however I want to make sure the blade is wide enough to cover the rear tire width (54 inches or so). I know a 60 inch covers that, but I envision turning the blade at an angle to move snow off to the side of the driveway. My hope is that it doesn't push me around to much at an angle and I lose traction. I'm planning to use this mostly for snow removal and grading/crowning my gravel driveway. Please let me know your thoughts!
