Does Deere make a Cutter for the 260 BH?

Wondering if anyone makes a cutter I can attach on my Backhoe to cut big roots. I have seen big cutters on demolition jobs---they work great!
I have a Barracuda thumb that is fantastic, but a cutter would be even better---but I am sure more $$$

Thanks for the info on ripper!!
Wonder instead, is there a hydraulic cutter available? Like a demolition Shear--for the end of my backhoe.

Never seen anything like that for a small compact tractor.

As Kenny said I doubt you'll find anyone who manufactures a sheer for a tiny BH. But you'd have good results with a ripper as linked to and also check out Michigan Iron as they make some really nice rippers also.

These guys will get you one if you want...
    Gensco Equipment - Mobile Shears

Their GE20R would probably work... and they will include custom connecting linkage.(Had one on a Mini Excavator I used for awhile not much bigger size wise than a 260 but more powerful for sure)

Now it isn't a real big cutting opening (about 8 inches) and it is 4 feet long... and it will be expensive......

And you would need custom hydraulic hookups...

But if you REALLY Want it....

Also it weighs like 400lbs... not sure the 260 could handle that....

Me? I'd go with a ripper or buy another machine more suited to the job at hand.
