MMM shaft removal for 1 series

Hey guys.. I'm selling my 54D with mechanical lift in favour of a rear finish mower.. Nothing wrong with the 54D.. It works as it should.. Just personal preference.. My issue is that I have removed everything from the tractor but I don't know how to get the female mower drive shaft off of the male pto drive shaft on the tractor.. Wondering if you fine folks might walk me through how it comes off.. Thanks!

Push in on the shaft slightly to remove tension on the ball detente, then rotate the outer collar to release the ball detente and then you should be able to slide the shaft off. Sometimes that outer collar is stiff to turn and you need to just work it back and forth a few times to loosen it up.
