    60D Mulch Kit

Before I pull the trigger, can someone please check my selection for a mulch kit on a 60D mower attached to a 2015 1025R?

Per Green Farms Parts, I have two choice based on serial number of deck:

My deck serial number is 059675, meaning I would select BM23978. Agree? I find it interesting there a fairly large difference in price. What might cause that?

I have seen several folks mention in other posts their purchase of the TCB10953.

I plan on purchase the corresponding kit to my serial number but if anyone has any inside knowledge I'd love to hear it. Thanks

Update: I was able to confirm my first post by looking on deere.com

BM23978 is the way to go for my serial number (unless anyone disagrees).

    Mulch Kit

This may or may not be the case with Deere mower. I had a very interesting experience with two different decks. One on a front mount Deere and a front mount Toro. Both were original side discharge. After installing the baffles in both and using them I found that both clumped the grass unless very very dry. So you could not mow in the morning with dew or after a rain. finally bought a Toro front mount which was a true recycle deck no discharge outlet. That one worked great. I would be very careful spending the money unless the Dealer will stand by the quality of cut after installed. There is a real difference between how the baffles are designed. I know some may disagree with this my is my experience.

You are correct with BM23978. Serial number break at 30000. I have mowed wet morning grass and also mulched leaves in the rain. Does a great job.

Thanks Tony, I hear you. I'm counting on the torque of the 1025R to power through everything and from what I've read, it does.
