    4066 R Quick Hitch Question

I'm considering a quick hitch for my 4066 R. I know many here have them.

Should I buy from John Deere or some other brand?

What is the part number and cost if I choose John Deere?

Does it just attach to my lift arms and top link with cat 1 pins?

Approximately how many inches will it extend implement further back?

I'll only be attaching a 90" finishing mower or ballast box.

    Thanks for advice.

I have the JD iMatch quick hitch with the fixed upper hook on my 4066R and can highly recommend it. I also have a HF quick hitch and there is a considerable difference in quality, but also a considerable difference in price. I use a Befco 110 inch rear finish mower and there was no adjustments to be made. It just works. It extends the 3pt implement rearwards about 3 inches, but the PTO shaft usually has enough overlap to cover that. Mine did. The quick hitch attaches to the 3pt arms just like any other implement. The only downside with a PTO implement is getting in there to hook up the PTO shaft, but it is not that bad. Now that being said, is your mower quick hitch compatible. Mine was not, but they had an optional quick hitch conversion, which I opted for and it worked great.
