    Will it fit?

Does anyone know if the old model 39 sickle mower will fit on a new 3038E? Thanks in advance

If you have a loader, pick up a good scoop of dirt before hooking it up. Otherwise put weights on the front end. That sickle bar is heavy. You can handle it, but you'll need to ballast out front.

I'm concerned about the actual hookup to the 3 pt hitch with the R4 tires.

Shouldn't be any problem at all. It's not going to be iMatch compatible, but should mount directly to your three point arms just fine.

The three point arms on your tractor will extend over the arms on the mower and pin in place, then you'll have to install brackets to connect the front of the mower's arms further back on your three point arms. It's not a quick install, but it should work. The mower uses a mechanical linkage to lift the end of the cutter bar up to transport position when you raise the three point hitch.
