    Need Help

    Hello all.
I have a JD 272 grooming mower and one of the fron rollers is frozen. Can anyone give me an idea how to remove it? I have removed the bolt in the collar on one end of the shaft. I thought I could then pound the shaft out through but it isn't going. Is it possible that the roller is frozen to the shaft? If it is, how do I get it out to replace the roller? Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,

On my Zero Turn they will pack with grass and it will make it extremely hard to remove the shaft/bolt. I try to take them off once a year to prevent this.

Thanks for the help and ideas.
The roller was frozen to the shaft. Sawzall took care of it and I am back in business.
