Dump From Seat MCS Hopper on a 1 Series

This is an interesting project so thought I would share. I had a customer that wanted to mount Deere's latest "Dump from Seat" MCS Hopper on a 1 Series. This hopper is designed for the X Series, but he wanted to give it a try.

Turns out is mounts perfectly to the 1 Series and to the JB Bracket for the I-Match. No mods necessary, fits right out of the boxes. He said it works great on the 3-point because you can raise the hopper high enough to dump on a nice pile, if desired. He is going to get some video of it in action during this weekend's mowing.

Take a look at the pics. I think it turned out pretty nice.

Great!!! I didn't even know Deere made one like that. That would be a sweet setup as no bags to pick up. Those bags packed full are quite heavy. Gotta go find my mayonnaise jar in the back yard.....

They do look pretty cool. I have not used one or even seen one in person yet, but they do look pretty well built. They are from the company that has been building Deere's sprayers for many years, so I would assume they are good quality.

Have not heard of many guys using them yet either. Will be interesting to see if Deere moves them into the compatible equipment for the 1 Series. I suspect they will, but with a few adaptations specifically for the 1.

I want one! Looking forward to more pics and info... Figured that I could get away with a 60D next year, but will have to start setting aside additional $ for this setup

Curious if the 3PH can lift the hopper enough to get it into a dump trailer!

The 3-point is all the way down in the photo. A pretty good guess would be to raise your 3-point all the way, measure to the ground, then add about 10 inches or so (looks like about the distance from the bottom of the hopper to the bottom of the 3 point or I-Match. Bet that would get you a pretty good guess.

Mowing with hopper this weekend will post some video links

I have a pic or video already with it raised full height on the Dropbox link , Randy. I think it would clear a low sided trailer.

My dealer sold it too me with the tractor as a john deere part number , they are only listed for the x series.
Without the imatch setup and this adaptor it would require you to remove the 3 point arms. Also don't cut the tube at the factory position it needs to be longer of course.
