    Smile Oil change problem

I have a rough prewar Model A - I went to change the oil and almost none came out. I pulled out both the filter and the drain. So I thoughI test and I put in 2 gallons of fuel. That just dripped - is it plugged with gunk?

Also I need the steering housing gasket to radiator housing.

    Thanks for your response

    Thumbs up Welcome to GTT!

Yeah, I had similar problems with the 60s that have been in my garage. The sludge will build up at the bottom preventing a good drain. Take a piece of wire, or even a screwdriver and poke the goo plug. Just be ready for the goo....

You may want to do a flush similar to what I did. After draining, I filled the trans with used motor oil and ran it around for a few miles unloaded. After draining that, the trans was nice and clean.
