Does anyone make new worm and sector gears for late A (1950 and up)? Mine are getting sloppy.

Have you looked inside yet? These tractors have an adjustable eccentric bushing at the top of the spindle shaft to adjust lash at the worm and sector. You also want to make sure the sector gear is tight on the top of the spindle shaft splines and look for wear in the gears and bushings. A lot of time you can make them better by adjusting the eccentric bushing, but if you do make sure it still operates from stop to stop with no tight spots. I don't know of any new parts available, but you should check that out more. If your parts are to worn to use you may have to find some good used parts.

I forgot to mention to check the bearings on the steering shaft also.
