    Model 70 LP

Well, I did purchase the Model 70 that I mentioned before. Have put a blend of this and that in the spark plug holes to help free up the engine, as the pistons are stuck. Sure hope it works.
It has been sitting in the barn for 20 years. I managed to get two tires aired up; one rear and one front. Looks like a needle valve is missing in one of the front tubes. One back tire will air up fine, but the other leaks badly and not sure I can reuse the tube or tire. Back tires are R-1 Firestone 13.6-38's.

This is a 1954 model row crop NF with the rollomatic feature. As I was preparing to move the tractor from the barn, I encountered some unwanted guests. As I moved some things underneath, some scorpions came out of their hiding places. They were quickly dealt with. I hope this venture proves to be a good one, especially since the purchase price was so cheap.

Got my eyes on a 720 LP just a short distance away from where the Model 70 was at.

Yes, pics are necessary. Here is one pic of it sitting in it's previous home for 20 years.

When I was first shown the tractor, there wasn't much time to look it over thoroughly. So, I had to decide rather quickly whether to take a chance on it, or miss out entirely. The seller was going to list it online the next day, if I didn't pounce. She gave me first chance at it. There are lots of implements too, but not sure if I'll get to buy any, since the seller has given them to a relative. But they are still just sitting in a cow pasture.

This is, unfortunately, not a factory equipped LP tractor. The owner's deceased husband converted it from gasoline to propane. To be honest, this is the first JD I've ever seen converted to LP. Oh well, if for some reason I don't want to keep it, I can always give someone else a chance to own it. I'm just praying that I can get her going without too much trouble or expense. The picture below was of the tractor with the sheet metal removed. I will get some other pics to post.

Randy, will do. Not sure how long it'll take to get her fixed up, especially with another major Holiday approaching. Looks like I missed out on a gem the same folks sold not long before I bought the 70 from them. I know they have a 4440 and other similar models, but don't think they will part with them just yet.

Down here in the South, so many folks were hit really hard by the drought and have sold many things that never were intended to be for sale.
