I am restoring a B and there is a piece broke out of the housing of the oil filter body where the stud goes through. Is this going to cause a problem?

    Thanks

    Welcome to GTT!

It is only a problem if you don't mind the leak. I am pretty sure you'll want to get that fixed. Seems like an odd thing to break. Any idea how it happened?

thanks, it looks like the stud that holds the oil filter cap was over tightened.
