    Center hook and clevis suggestion

Bought my tractor used and the previous owner had a very makeshift and unsafe hook mounted in the middle using one of the center holes. I have a bolt on hook and clevis from ken and am wondering what your thoughts are about drilling new holes so close to these ones and if it will be usable.

I wouldn't worry about drilling the new holes. I originally installed three of Ken's hooks on my bucket but found I never used the center hook. So when he came out with the bucket receiver hitch I replaced my center hook with the receiver hitch and put the support bracket and clevis hook underneath.

I had the two holes from the center hook which couldn't be used for the receiver hitch so I just centered the hitch plate over them.

I use the hitch and center clevis ALL THE TIME. I also picked up one of the BallDog so I can attach various things to the center if ever needed.

Do you notice any bending in the center when you pick up things with the trailer ball?

For no more than your bucket will withstand, you should be ok. I would put a plate, usually comes with Ken's stuff, on the opposite side and you will be good to go.

Not so far. I don't pick up things super heavy in the center. I do use it to move a 5x10 landscape trailer and have not noticed any deformation.

Obviously you sell a proper product, what do you think about the previous hook usage and me putting it in the middle? Do your hooks and clevis line up with drawbar holes?.

I would not use that setup on anything.

    I have no idea...but I thought the 2210 didn't have a drawbar-just a plate with a hole in it.
