I wanted to pass along my very positive experience with two of Ken's products that I installed this weekend.
First, was the UDVK diverter kit for 3 Series Cab tractors. Ken is just getting the cab kits together, so mine was the first real world installation. As is usually the case, the quality of the parts was outstanding. Every hole lined up perfectly, the hardware was just the right length and the wiring harness had just enough slack to make things easy without a bunch of extra coiled wire to stow. The instructions were fantastic. Step by step with photos. He even included details of how to get past some of the little glitches that one typically encounters when adding aftermarket parts. Those comments make a huge difference! Now, I can't wait for my top link to come from Fit-Rite to give it the full test.
The second project was adding a couple of receiver brackets to the sides of my ballast box. These are NOT intended to tow anything, but were planned to go along with the Heavy Hitch Hitch'N Can. I wanted to be able to move my trash carts without removing the ballast box. The quality of both Ken's and HH products was top notch. As you can see, they are mounted fairly low and back, so the walls of the box are well supported. After consulting with Ken, I decided to use a full length piece of 1/2" threaded rod as my fourth bolt on each plate. This ties the two plates and sides together, so flexing is absolutely minimal.

It really is a pleasure working with quality made products.
