This is another great idea Ken. I can see many uses for something like this. It looks like you can unbolt your hooks and bolt these shackle mounts directly in place if you wanted to change back and forth.

Yes, the same plates are used so they would interchange. An idea I had was to use the shackle mounts inside the bucket as the backing plate to a hook on top, mounted back-to-back in other words. I believe the shackle would hang low enough to still be usable.

Here are some random pictures of the shackle mounts that customers have sent me:

I hope to soon be able to supply the 5/16" grab hooks plain, as in for welding-these are identical to the ones sold at a popular online supplier for them. I also may be selling the 1/2" shackle/clevis' as well.

Are you selling the large magnet to stop the clevis from rattling yet?

That is a great idea using the shackle inside as the backing for the hook! I have to say, if I was going with the bolt-on instead of welding I would do it that way.

    Honestly...This wasn't staged

With that said, I thought I would add a few more pics to this thread. As suggested by Ken, we added the clevis mounts in the bucket under the bolt on hooks.
