This 'chore' didn't make our 2520 work too hard. On the west part of the lawn, the woods/weeds keeps creeping in where our lawn begins. This summer I have been ducking and leaning away from the branches and weeds as I have been mowing. This weekend, I finally decided to get after it. I bought a Stihl 8 tooth grass blade. Specs said it would cut through small saplings, matted grass and reeds. I only wanted to go back 4-5 ft so give some relief and after cutting them down, I used the 2520 and FEL with Piranha tooth bar to clear the area of the mess left over. As you can see from some of the pics, some of the woods starts dropping off with significant pitch and I have no intent on mowing it. When finished it was one of those tasks in which I asked myself why I hadn't talked this sooner.
Also worth noting, the blade can cut those errant branches still attached to the trunk.
