We got hit with hail around here about 8 years ago. The house that I owned with my ex-wife got about $25k in damage between the siding, the roof, the fence, the deck, etc., etc. The entire area was a flurry of new roof and siding installation for months!!

We got all new siding because they couldn't match the old vinyl that was on the house. Might want to tell your wife to put her decorating hat on and start picking roof and siding colors.

    Good luck with it all!!
Na they would stay basically the same/similar to match the shed.

    Thanks.
It sucks it was just starting to produce, but that's the name of the game.
Farmers bean field across the road looks like it was hit by a flail mower, so all in perspective.

Wacky tabackee?Since it became legal to grow here the air continuously smells like skunk spray. It has destroyed our clean smelling forests and the authorities are not doing squat to the growers. Oregon is worse than California for the smell factor. Local counties have passed ordinances that allow for a maximum of 6 plants grown in a legally permitted outbuilding but the authorities don't enforce the rules. One Sheriff is busting the Mong mafia who grow it here and sell it back East in Wisconsin and Minnesota. I liked things much better when it was a prisonable crime to grow the sheit.

This year I planted about 8 more tomato plants than last year. My hopes were for more sauce. Seems like we’re not getting ahead, but it’s still early. Anyway, today we canned 18 pints and have 2 quarts to be refrigerated and used in the coming days.

My hope for tomatoes for the remaining season is to get 9 more pints of sauce (45 tomatoes give or take), a batch of Salsa to can, and maybe some Pizza Sauce.

It’s been a long day, but the house smells good. Here’s half:
