    Tip for DIYers, weed control

There are many here who enjoy being DIYers for lawncare and weed management is certainly part of that. Liquid products are by far the most effective and inexpensive way to accomplish this. Weeds are best managed when they are actively growing.

If you can hold yourself back from mowing first thing in the Spring, Just be patient and wait a little. Weeds will easily outgrow the grass and if you spray before the lawn has been mowed there is approx. 300% more leaf area to absorb the herbicide. The goal in application is keeping the product "on target". Weeds sprayed like this will be absolutely nuked due to the large amount of active ingredient that will be absorbed and taken back to the root. Give it 2-3 days after spraying before you mow. Trust me you weeds will be done dancing.
