Put Front Mud Flaps on my 4044M

Tired of manure, mud and snow flying off the front tires! Made me some front mud/snow/ect Flaps. I used strong 1/4 ABS Sheeting. When plowing snow or manure in the pasture the front tires throw it up inside the cab and it hits me! This will stop the snow on my boots when plowing making my toes cold too. They will also knock down the air flow a bit when traveling faster and protect my feet from branches and such. Making fenders would have been harder but easier for me to mess up on something. So a Mud Shield solved the problem and protect me better from things off the tires on the front. When you turn those tires aimed right in the cab to fling stuff off them.Click image for larger version.

I drilled 2 - 3/8" holes into the Loader Frame and bolted them to it. The material fit snug between the Floor and tractor side keeps it from coming forward or back more. It is 18" wide and 24" long flexible Black Marine Board HDPE Polyethylene Plastic Sheet 1/4” - 0.250" Thick Textured. They sell this stuff on ebay.Click image for larger version.

Driving thru some mud and snow it left some on the flap. Way more if it had not been for the snow cleaning it off. But what is on it would have made it into the cab off the front tires.Click image for larger version.

Very nice JD! At least you followed through with your flap project! I started out putting them on mine a few years ago, and haven't finished them yet!
