    Suspension Seat 3038E

I need to upgrade my seat on the 3038E. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated. I have limited budget on this project. Thanks

Northern Tool sells a generic suspension seat but you need to do some measurements to make sure the bolt holes line up and then you will have to figure out the seat safety switch. Not sure what your limited budget is but the seats they sell cost several hundred dollars but are a better price than I have seen elsewhere. You can also try Ebay, I see suspension seat on there but I would think it's hard to return it if it doesn't work out.

I added 4 seat springs (real springs) and it's made a huge difference on my 3025E. Those black rubber 'springs' were a joke.

I put a JD air ride seat on my 3033R. It worked well for me. I have back problems so the air ride helped.

How much travel does it provide.

Agreed. Every time I sit on a three series I am impressed with the amount of travel they have. I also wonder if our 38’s would be better if the springs were weaker.

Kenny nailed it!! 4 of those metal springs work soooooo much better than the rubber spring junk. And it literally takes 3 minutes to take out the old and put in the new, maybe 2 minutes lol.

Bought them from Green Farm Parts
