    Fixing Lower Exhaust on 4044M

I was noticing my Front ABS Skid plate was showing some reshape on a little corner? Then looked at my Exhaust Outlet and AAHHA! It is the heat coming out of it blowing on my skid plate!! I also think this heat is going into the area around my engine too making it warmer as it dose get warm brush hogging or working it hard. I ordered a 45 degree Silicon Turbo Hose (Up to 500 degs operating zone) from 2" to 2 1/2" to put on the outlet. This will direct the hot exhaust away from the skid plate and engine. I was reading about black soot stuff on others tractors and doing this. That was not a issue to me and will find out if it lowers the engine temps too?Click image for larger version.
