    3025 e draw bar bracket

My new 3025e came without a drawer bar bracket under the rear axle. The dealer says it’s an option but all the other 3025e’s on the lot have it. Should it be standard or do you actually have to order that as an option?

According to the Deere "Build Your Own" site, it IS an option. It is included in the base price so when the machine is ordered you have to you "opt out" of getting one. If you bought off their lot they may have ordered it that way.

    Rear Drawbar
    Option Code : 4310
Includes support bracket and retention pin.

I would be suspicious. Are you missing only the steel bar itself and retaining pin or are you missing the bracket as well (see parts below). Question the dealer on why all the other 3025E tractors on the lot have it. Like the previous poster mentioned, it is listed on the Build Your Own site but when I just tried it, it will NOT let me delete the option. Even if it could be ordered without one I would have to question WHY a dealer would make a special effort to order a tractor without it. It's not like it would effect the price much.

In the parts illustrations it is not listed as optional components. Also, I do not see an assembly part number listed which also would indicate that it's not an option. BTW... just item #6 below has a price of $273 so I would try to get your dealer to cough one up. :-)

In my quote before I bought one it was an add on of $124, code 1352LV4310. I also have an add on for the telescoping draft links for $312 and for the R4 tires for $297 in the quote under standard options.

The loader is listed under dealer attachments.

I believe these are just the increase over the completely base model. My guess is yours was ordered without it, I doubt the dealer robbed it to fix a damaged unit as they would of replaced it.

I would tell the dealer you want it for the price as if it was bought as a standard option at $124 and free install.

The dealer should of pointed this out to you and gave you a choice as you may of not noticed it.

Thank you for the info. It’s much appreciated. Yes I wish the salesman would have asked to me so I could’ve included it in the purchase price instead of laying out cash to purchase the part.

Are you just missing the steel bar or are you also missing the bracket it attaches to?

In that case I would definitely go back to the dealer and see what you can work out. You know how things always cost more as parts compared to a sales kit. Someone above listed that their quote showed a line item for $124 for the drawbar code (1352LV4310).

I just added up all the parts shown in the diagram above and if you buy it as "parts" it will cost $585.92. That's crazy money for a bracket and steel bar.

Just came back from the John Deere dealer and they are going to supply the entire Drawbar kit for free. It sure is nice when you work with a reputable dealership. Nelson Tractor Co. in Blairsville Georgia. By the way the drawbar will be included in the 2020 E series as a standard item. Thank you for all the feedback.
