    455 high output alternator

Is there such a thing as a high output alternator for these tractors? I may be looking at a new one and thought more juice might help now or in the future. Thanks

I guess I'll take this one since no one else wants it.

Does your alternator look like this 40 amp https://www.greenfarmparts.com/John-...p/am877740.htm or like this 20 amp John Deere Alternator MIA10338

I think on SCUT two were different alternators were offered (might still be) but I am not sure on the garden tractors. I am not sure why you would need one with higher amperage though, maybe if you had a CAB with heat you might need a bigger alternator.

The 1026R and the 855D Gator both have a 55 amp listed LVA12467. Not sure if that would be a bolt on mod with Deere parts or would require fabrication.

Depends on the answer to your question in post two.
