JD Mower Plus app first full use

I came back from being out of town for a while and got my whole lawn mowed on Sunday. It had been two weeks since it was last mowed and it was definitely needing a cutting. Things were generally 7-10" tall. Normally I break up the mowing into two sessions but I had all day and wanted it done so I powered through the whole thing in one sitting. Thought folks may enjoy seeing the details of a large tracked mow. Property details are: 10 acres total, about 7 acres mowed. I can do the entire thing in one tankful of diesel on the x758. That's right about the limit. It will take close to 4.5 gallons to fill the tank.

Stats from the app, in case you can't zoom the image enough:

    Total time: 4:28
    Total distance: 16.6 miles
    Total coverage: 10.1 acres
    Avg speed: 3.7 mph

Wow , quite a session . Was the tracking of the mow accurate for you ? I've used it (the app) several times now and it is pretty close , but sometimes it tells me that I mowed a few strips of my neighbors yard . lol

It's not perfect. Close though. About as close as I've come to expect from any consumer-grade GPS unit. Let me tell you though, it is nowhere near as accurate as the GPS the surveyor guy had when he came out to locate my property corner pins. That thing was down to fractions of an inch.

Have 32 under my belt. App notified me that over 20 acres was cut.
I would say the accuracy would be the biggest downside to this app. Think it's just to show what direction of cut you used last time. Seeing they recommend using a different pattern every time. However this is easier said than done. Some smaller areas that I cut can only be done one way. Especially if you don't want to shoot the cut grass into flower beds or against a building.
