I am looking to buy a TG -48-XB tiller.
Will this tiller work on my 425 JD.
I have a PTO and a cat 0 three point.
I am looking to till my wives garden and if I have time to install some food plots
for the deer.
I have also been looking at a 42" JD hydro tiller and would appreciate any feed back.
I would see no reason the 425 would not handle the tiller. The Cat 0 limitations should not be an issue as I think its lift height would not be a problem with a tiller. I have a 445 but I do not have the three point. I feel like it would be light on power, but we run a 57" on our 4110 for my aunt's garden, so I would have to say the power is there on the 425.
I would recommend some sort of quick tach system. Tillers are heavy and can be a paint to attach. I made a cart to put mine in so it will slide around easy, but i still would not go without the i-match with it.
Make sure your PTO shaft is not too long when you purchase your tiller.
