425 with FEL. trying to mount cab.

Has anyone put a cab on with the FEL mounting hardware still in place? I bought a cab with hopes of keeping the snow off me when blowing. I had a quick look at mounting it but it appears as though the FEL things that come out from the side of the frame are about 1" too close and prevent the separate foot enclosures from sitting on the foot boards properly. (sorry for all the technical jargon) It looks like I will have to either modify those foot enclosures pieces or remove the FEL mounting hardware from the tractor. Thoughts?

You are right on the money. It's either you remove the loader or modify things to fit.

Thanks. Upon further investigation the FEL receiver arms have to come off because they would not allow the cab doors to open if they stay in place. Let the fun begin. It doesn't look too hard but I'm guessing 4-6 leisurely hours of work. Rear wheels will have to come off to access a few bolts, will have to enlist the help of my son-i-l, the usual stuff.
