    2001 John Deere 345 fuel pump 20hp

I have noticed a small leak of fluid from the bottom of the fuel pump. Seems like the leak is coming from a tiny hole that is meant to be a vent??? What do you recommend? I am very mechanical, so replacing the pump if needed is not an issue.

If it is leaking gas, please replace it soon to avoid any chance of fire. Later model fuel pumps have a tube that a hose is attached to that directs gas leaking from the pump to an area safely away from the muffler on many of these models.
Check the thread below titled "1996 345 fuel pump". Some info with photos that will be of interest to you. Be sure to look up the part number for your model and s/n to get the correct one. It may be the same as listed in that thread, but I didn't check it.
    Good luck!
