Can anyone help with a snow blower question

Serial number MO275X555340 says it fits a early 90's 420 any chance I can retrofit this to fit my x738? Price is right

With sufficient fabrication skill, time, money, materials, and welding / cutting equipment it is possible to literally attach anything to anything. The question is how feasible is the project.

One of the first gotchas with a lot of these older blowers is that the drive shaft spins the wrong direction, rendering the gearbox incompatible.

It's just something you have to double check before embarking on a retrofit.

Not worth it,there's plenty of blowers around.Check your dealer a lot of times trade ins with blowers and when they resell some don't want the blower so it sits.
