    Will a 2015 44 inch snow blade on an x300 fit on a 2017 x580?

    Will a 2015 44 inch blade that was on an x300 work on a 2017 X580?
    I had a 2015 x300 with a 44 inch blade and angling kit. I now have a new 2017 x580.

Is there any way that it can be used with a 2017 x580? There is a part or kit # BM26155 called a "lifter kit" which is used to retrofit a 2007-2015 48 inch blade and/or 44 inch blower on to the new x500 series (570,580,584,590). https://www.greenpartstore.com/John-...t-BM26155.html

I had one dealer say that kit would work and another say it would not. they all want to sell you the new blade of course.

But it doesn't say if it will work on a 2015 series 44 inch snow blade.

If not this kit is there a way to make it work/fit?

Problem with the 44" blade is when angled you tire tracks will ride in the snow.Your better off with a 48".

Yes the 44inch will work On Your New X500 series
according to the Deere website Snow blower and front blade compatibility kit you don't need the Kit for the 44inch Blade But if You Look In the Manual for the 44inch Blade OMM175597 You will need the conversion kit anyways it cost about $328.49. It is worth getting the Kit so if You decided to get a 48inch Blade down the road You will save yourself some Money by just having to order the Blade itself See the New X300 & X500 series don't use a 2nd rocker shaft to raise & lower Blade or Blower anymore You basically need the two triangle Parts and the two rods shown in the Kit I posted to raise & lower your 44inch Blade. I know it very deceiving but You do need the Kit
