Kohler Command 13hp STX38 valve adjustment

I have a STX38 black deck with a Kohler Command 13 engine. What is the procedure to adjust the valves? Engine runs great but I do think I hear some rattle around the valve area. Thanks

Most engines with hydraulic lifters are self adjusting. Not like it's impossible for a hydraulic lifter to go bad. If this engine is overhead valves. You can always pull the valve cover to check for damage or loose parts.
