    X540 snow blade

    Buddy has a X540 mower and wants a snow blade for it. Are there any companies that make a blade other than JD? The $1000 price tag is scaring him away.

    subscribed, I have a x475 and would love to have a front snow blade but the JD price is killer.

    If you get a "frame squeezer" from Al Z Welding for the front of your x475 you can use any of the older 54 inch snow blades that fit earlier JD tractors like the 318, etc. Here is a picture of my x495 with the front adapter in place. The older blades are perhaps more plentiful and sometimes you can happen upon a bargain...
