    Gt275 carb adjustment questions

Ok so you guys may know about the gt275 i've been working on. I need to know if it's possible to remove the little black cap thingy on the pilot air screw. I would just try to yank it off but I don't wanna damage the carb. I was thinking about taking my little dremel and cuttin the sides open and just letting it fall off.

It surges really bad at idle and I think that's what it is.

We shaved the stopping ear off that plastic piece so we could actually adjust the pilot screw. That fixed it for the most part with just a tweak to the throttle/high speed adjustment
