    GT235 acceleration problems

I used my GT235 today to move some things around the yard and noticed that even with the forward pedal mashed to the floor and I did not have the speed I have had before. The forward pedal also does not seem to be popping fully back up to the normal level. Throttle is full...any ideas?

Check the fluid level.Check the linkage going back to the transmission,on my 345 there's a spring on top of the tranny that springs the peddle back to neutral.
