wanting to use a back blade - I know I need to get a 3 point hitch set up -

How does it go up and down?
my fathers full size has a lever to raise - lower.

Do I need to buy a arm something - a lever or valve ?

The 3pt hitch uses the deck cylinder to move it up and down. You would raise the deck all the way up,set the height gauge to 5 to keep the deck arms from moving while using the 3pt hitch.

Uses the mower deck lift cylinder. On my X739 which should be the same as yours you have to move the cylinder to a different position. Thats the hardest part of install.
