    Gt 235

    Hi folks

I have a GT 235 that has lost compression. Is it worth rebuilding or replacing the engine? It's a Briggs VTwin Model 35077, Type 1137-E1

I assuming you mean if the Briggs is worth rebuilding. The Briggs used in the GT series are the commercial Vanguards, so yes, it's worth rebuilding. But you can also repower - it's whatever you feel more comfortable with and what you can afford. I think I would repower, but that would just be my preference. Here is a repower option.
