    Extended Warranty

I just saw on JD's website where their PowerGuard residential warranty is now priced at $595 for 7 years, versus the list price of $1,212. I recently ordered an x758 and was wondering two things:

    - Is the regular price really $1,212?
    - Would anyone bite on this deal?

I would not even be considering this at $1,212 but $595 does not seem too bad for an additional 3 years of coverage and transportation for all 7 years.

    Thanks everyone.

    Hey Drifter -

I'm just curious...I see you have a 2016 1025R in your signature line. What's the reason for moving to a 2018 1025R? Were there some major changes over the past couple years to the 1025R line?

Thanks...and have fun with all that equipment!

I traded my 2016 1025R Because with the 2018 2038R I got the 220R FEL and did not need the H120 with my 1025R. I thought on trying to sell it but my dealer made me a good offer. I had a 60D deck with the 16 but I also wanted a 54" so I just traded it in. I was able to trade it for a new 2018 with 54" hydraulic lift and hood Guard. Swapped over my brush guards and LED work lights and my front hitch mounts. I was very happy with the deal. You wont believe the room the two FELS took up in storage. Also this way I have two 2018 tractors with the full 6 year warranty just has I get ready to retire. should have new one by the weekend.

I was wrong about the PowerGuard warranties. They are inclusive of the factory warranty. I started another thread about them. The one for 481 just adds one year to your labor warranty.
