    Yanmar 3TNE74 Rebuild??

I ran across another opportunity possibly... So far I have rebuilt two John Deere 445 engines, and they have performed perfectly. That being said, how much more difficult would rebuilding a Yanmar 3TNE74 be? The Kawasaki engines were in my opinion easy to work on. I have a chance to grab an X495 for $600 with excessive blow by.

They shouldn't be bad. Just like the kawasakis with more cylinders and of course the diesel injection system.

I have read that an In frame rebuild is possible if just rings are being replaced.

I was told approximately 1,000. I was also told that it was run low on oil.

It might have scored cylinder walls that would need boring or the block replaced.

I just bought a x495 and think i have a blown head gasket keep loosing coolant in expansion tank every time i use it and no white smoke during normal use just a quick puff at start up which i thought was normal. Anyone have the technical manual in pdf? I wanted to see how involved it is i am quite handy.
Any help would be appreciated since i spent $3250 for the tractor.
