x540 - Mower deck won't lower more than an inch

I have a 4 year old X540 with 150 hours on it. Haven't needed to mow in over a month and just noticed that the mower deck is only lowering approx. an inch. Doesn't matter what I set the depth setting too, it only seems to move an inch. Is there anything that I can take a look at before I load it up and take it to the dealership?

Make sure that you lift your deck all the way up before turning the adjustment knob.
    1. Lift power lift lever.
    2. Adjust knob.
    3. Push down the power lift lever.

The adjustment knob should have a notch at every setting. 1&1/2",2",2&1/2",3" etc.

Dealer just called, a portion of the snowblower lift linkage came apart which was stopping the mower deck from lowering. I never even thought to check that.
